Welcome to my family day care website. I started my career in family day care in late 2005, and I love it.
I
am from a corporate background where I had to leave my own 2 children with other carers so that I could work. I wish that
I had discovered family day care as a career back then. It's such a valuable career, and service to the children I look after,
and also to their families.
I have seen such a positive change in the children that have come to me for care. They
are more affectionate, loving, happy and they display wonderful more confident and bright personalities.
I highly
recommend family day care as a career for mothers wanting to look at a genuine work at home opportunity, and also for parents
who are looking for exceptional care for their children, who are looking for a loving, nurturing family focus.
One
of my parents who brought their daughter to me at 13 months, who was previously in centre care, advised me that they have
seen a huge change in their daughter, such as:
1. She's not sick all the time since she's been coming to me
2. She's
been able to put on some weight since she's come to me (because she's not sick)
3. She looks forward to coming to me and
gets excited, where as before she didn't want to go to the child care centre she was at
4. She's much more affectionate
5.
Her personality has brightened and she's happy and bubbly
These are WONDERFUL reasons why kids are better in family
day care.
